An old standard, the Celeste fig is found on many residential properties around the South.  It is highly productive, is quite hardy and lives through most Winters, and has flavorful sacks of jam with extremely sweet sugary flavors and hints of berry.  This is a great jam fig since it produces a lot at once in August.  This is a Unifera fig with only a single main crop.  No brebas.
